The 2025 Summer EBT application is not yet open. Sign up below to be notified when North Carolina's Summer EBT application is available.
If your household has received SNAP benefits between July 1, 2024 and today, your child should automatically be enrolled in the 2025 Summer EBT (SUN Bucks) program. You likely will not need to submit a 2025 Summer EBT application.
If your household is not currently enrolled in SNAP benefits and you believe you are eligible, we encourage you to apply here. Households enrolled in SNAP benefits should automatically receive Summer EBT for their school aged children in summer 2025.
If your household is not eligible for SNAP benefits and your child attends a school where all children automatically receive free and reduced price meals (breakfast or lunch), ask your child's school for a "Free and Reduced Price Meals" application or complete the form here. If your child is eligible for free or reduced price school meals, completing this form should help your child to be automatically enrolled in the 2025 Summer EBT (SUN Bucks) program.
